This Policy explains what data 1UpShorts (“we”) collects when you use the Service, and how it’s used.

1. What we collect

• Account info: email address and authentication credentials.
• Content you submit: topics, uploaded documents (e.g. PDFs), and script edits, used solely to generate your videos.
• Usage data: which pipeline steps ran, render outcomes, and plan usage, used to enforce billing (a failed render is never billed).
• Payment data: handled directly by Polar, our merchant of record — we never see or store your card details.
• Connected platform accounts: if you connect YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram for auto-posting, we store the access token needed to publish on your behalf until you disconnect it.

2. How we use it

To generate and render your videos, operate your account and billing, and improve the Service. We don’t sell your data.

3. Third parties we rely on

Script generation, voice synthesis, image and video generation, and video rendering are each handled by specialized third-party providers under their own data-processing terms. We only send them what’s needed to complete that step. Payments are processed by Polar (Polar Software Inc.), which acts as the merchant of record for all purchases and appears as the seller on your statement; Polar handles your payment details under its own privacy policy and we never receive your card number.

4. Your choices

You can edit or delete your account content, disconnect any connected platform account, and request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@1upshorts.com. Where you connected an account through Meta, you can also trigger deletion through Meta’s own data-deletion flow, which our data-deletion endpoint handles automatically.
